Welcome to St. Matthew Episcopal Church in South Miami.

We hope you will join us in person very soon!

The Episcopal Church is known as a “bridge tradition” because it encompasses both the Catholic and Protestant traditions in one spiritual family. We are members of the worldwide Anglican Communion; along with 85 million other Anglican Christians throughout the world. Wherever you are on your journey in faith, there is a place here for you. Come and experience the love of God with us as we worship, serve, and seek to follow the way of Jesus together.

Join us in the Parish Hall after the service for Coffee, refreshments and fellowship followed by a short video lecture on some of Jesus's most well known parables.

Calling all Kids,

Come Worship and Learn

Our Sunday School is in session!!

Children meet in the Parish Hall during the first part of the service and join their families after the announcements in time for communion.


Children are welcome to join the congregation in the sanctuary during all services.

A quiet room is available in the back of the church. If your little ones need a chance to stretch and play quietly, the grown-ups can still listen and participate.


Help fill the food pantry!


The first Sunday of every month we will be collecting non-perishable food items to help with our  food pantry here at St. Matthews and other food ministries in the community.

All are welcome to wear a mask into church. If you suspect you have been exposed to someone who has CoViD, please wear a mask.

Ladies, come and enjoy getting spoiled, while the men do all the cooking. 


Please, join us for fellowship after the 10:00 AM service. Coffee, drinks and light snacks will be served outdoors, weather permitting, or indoors with social distancing following CDC recommendations.
