St. Matthew The Apostle

WELCOME

Welcome to St. Matthew Episcopal Church in South Miami.

We hope you will join us in person very soon!

The Episcopal Church is known as a “bridge tradition” because it encompasses both the Catholic and Protestant traditions in one spiritual family. We are members of the worldwide Anglican Communion; along with 85 million other Anglican Christians throughout the world.Wherever you are on your journey in faith, there is a place here for you. Come and experience the love of God with us as we worship, serve, and seek to follow the way of Jesus together.

All are welcome!

GETTING READY FOR PENTECOST

We invite you to prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, celebrated this year on June 5. Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit have to do with our day-to-day lives? What does it mean to live a more Spirit-filled life? To help us answer these questions, Episcopal priest, author and talk-show host Reverend Albert Cutie will guide us with four six-minute videos entitled Living a Spirit-filled Life.

Please join us after the service each Sunday in May. Grab some coffee and your favorite snack and gather with fellow parishioners to learn together.
