Fellowship Activities 

 

St. Matthew’s enjoys traditional inter-generational activities that generally center on season events of the church, including an Advent Lunch, Children’s Christmas Pageant, and Easter Egg Hunt. Other activities, such as the Labor Day picnic, are geared toward creating opportunities for fun and fellowship among the congregation. Opportunities are available if you are interested in coordinating any of our church events or have ideas for the same.

Other special occasions include the Blessing of the Backpacks (and Students and Teachers); the Blessing of the Grandparents; and the Blessing of the Animals.

Traditional Coffee Hour

Following the 10 AM service, the St. Matthew’s traditional coffee hour is the place to be for conversation and catching up with the lives of fellow parishioners. Refreshments and desserts are available for adults and children – a time to enjoy each other.

Lunch & Lecture

Every month, there is a Lunch & Lecture after the 10 AM service, when parishioners share a light meal, followed by a video lecture for Christian formation and discussion.

 

Tai Chi Practice Group

A Tai Chi Practice Group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week at 10 A.M. in St. Matthew’s Parish Hall. Cost is $10 per practice.
